Vermont Distillers of Marlboro have been making a name for themselves in the local spirits scene since 2008 with their range of flavored liqueurs and other spirits. Crowd favorites range from an apple-based Pommeau, to hand-zested Limoncello and Vermont Maple Bourbon. However, their claim to fame is undoubtedly their flagship, Metcalfe’s Vermont Maple Cream Liqueur that is as delicious sipped neat as it is mixed in coffee or a dessert cocktail such as the one below.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Metcalfe’s Vermont Maple Cream Liqueur
- Heaping scoop of vanilla ice cream
- Chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream
- Shaved chocolate garnish
Instructions
Drizzle chocolate syrup in a glass, then place in freezer for at least 5 minutes. Combine liqueur and ice cream in a blender. Pour into a chocolate-lined glass and top with whipped cream and shaved chocolate.
