Maple Spruce Beef & Vegetable Kabobs
Spruce up grilling season this summer with maple-infused kabobs.
Chop the onion, pepper, celery, garlic, and jalapeño in dice-size pieces. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat. When hot, add the chopped vegetables, season with the salt, and cook until soft, about 10 minutes, stirring often. Add the spices and ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon in the pan. Cook until the meat is browned, about 10 minutes more.
Add the ketchup and raisins to the pan and bring to a simmer. Cook for another 5 minutes and then serve with the buns and your favorite toppings, such as shredded cheese and pickles.
