Maple Fudge

Maple Fudge

With only three ingredients, this maple fudge is so easy to make. Serve it as a dessert or simply give it as gifts to important people in your life.
Course Dessert
Servings 6 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 cups maple syrup
  • 1 cup cream
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled

Instructions

  • Line a 9×5-inch pan with parchment paper and set aside. Place the maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add the cream. Continue to boil, stirring occasionally until the mixture reaches 236°F. This will take about 20 minutes.
  • Cut the chilled butter into ½-inch cubes.
  • Once the mixture reaches 236°F, remove from the heat and whisk in the butter. Continue whisking vigorously as the mixture cools for about 6½ minutes, until the fudge begins to thicken.
  • After the fudge thickens, pour it into the prepared pan. Allow to cool completely before cutting.
